A dream

I dreamed of her last night...

Puddles of intense curiosity
stare down at my startled eyes.
Her hair,
like curtains of silk
tickle my neck.
I become aware of a scent
vaguely familiar.
Dreams in color
splashed with olfactory splendor.
Will miracles ever cease?

A new beginning

When we love and loose, it's not just love that is lost, often we loose the courage to love again. To love is to live, but loosing love is not the end of life. With the euphoria of love should come the strength to endure the loss... and perhaps a prayer that the strength may never be tested.

Kindness

Kindness seldom clothes itself in fancy words, preferring to drape its soft body in the garb of meaningful, albiet little, actions. Her kindness was something I was not prepared for. The genuineness of her smile and her gentle ways left nothing but admiration and respect for her noble soul. I hope the winds of change don't ruffle her sweet image and I hope, time, the ever eager architect, leaves her untouched. Some things with all their imperfections are perfect the way they are.

Lost

I walk through the darkened alleys, with the stench of the city in my nostrils overpowering the sweet scent of memories of you... I need the neon lights of hope to guide me home...
